Contract with a public body

The Québec government can conclude supply, service and construction contracts with businesses. To award such contracts, public bodies must comply with the Act respecting contracting by public bodies and its regulations.

Public tenders

For public tenders, businesses must submit bids in response to the calls for tenders published in the Quebec government's Electronic Tendering System (SEAO).

Private Contract

To enter into a private contract (below the public tender thresholds) with a public body or to be invited to participate in a selective tender, businesses are encouraged to promote their products or services to public bodies.
